CLASS MATERIALS - Students should bring the following items to class each day:
- 3 ring binder (for Spanish class only)or one wide rule subject spiral notebook
- Blank notebook paper
- Pen or pencil
- 3 dividers

Make-up work policy
Homework will be posted online and on the classroom board.
Students who are absent are responsible for checking the absence folder upon returning to class. There, students will find any classwork they missed while absent. Students will be given 3 days after their return to class to turn in make-up classwork.
Students are expected to complete homework assignments from days they are absent within 3 days of the original due date as well.
If a student misses a test or quiz, it will be administered upon his/her return to class.
Cheating policy
Students who are caught cheating will receive a 0 for the assignment, a discipline referral and parents will be notified. If multiple students are involved, each student will receive a 0 for the assignment.
How to ask for things (restroom, sharpen pencil, etc.)
Students are expected to make requests in Spanish using phrases learned in class. The teacher may decline a student's request until he or she asks in Spanish!
Arriving tardy
Students who arrive tardy need to sign in on the tardy sheet located by the front door. Consequences will be given after 3 tardies.
Electronic devices
Cell phones, iPods and other electronic devices should not be seen nor heard in the classroom. School policy will be followed if the teacher sees or hears a student using an electronic device in class.
Food in the classroom
Only bottled water is allowed in class. No other drinks or food of any kind are permitted.
